John 14:28-31 Jesus provides four insights into what the crucifixion, and all its intending events, meant to Him: joy, vindication, victory, and love.

John 14:27 Only in Christ and in His Word can we find true inner peace—the peace OF God. And this depends on first having peace WITH God.

John 14:25-26 The Holy Spirit inspired the writing of God’s Word. It is therefore inerrant, and the final authority for all true Christians.

John 14:21-24 The Triune God dwells with and in His people. They are the ones who love and obey Him.

John 14:16-20 The Holy Spirit indwells all believers from the moment of their conversion. So no matter what situation we face, we never face it alone.

John 14:15, John 14:21 These two verses make it clear that there is no contradiction between the Bible’s teaching on love and grace, and the Bible’s teaching on law and obedience. In fact, true followers of Christ will obey God’s Word.

John 14:13-14 We get the support we need for our mission through praying ‘in Jesus’ name.’ But what does that actually mean?

John 14:12 We preach a ‘has done’ message when we proclaim the gospel—it’s the news about what Jesus has done. And the proclamation of that message is the ‘greater work’ Jesus said all His followers could do.

John 14:7-11 We ‘see’ God one way—by growing in our knowledge and love of Jesus. He is enough!

John 14:4-6 Jesus Himself is the only path to heaven. And that is because He is the source of truth and life that lost sinners need.
