Our vision is to be an instrument in God’s hands, proclaiming His Word to the next generation so that, through the work of the Holy Spirit, He may write His truth on their hearts, leading them to know and glorify Him in His sovereign will.
Our mission is to partner with families in sowing seeds of God’s truth by teaching His Word faithfully and creating a safe and gospel-centered environment where children can encounter the love and majesty of God. We commit to serving as a tool for His purposes, trusting that salvation is His work, accomplished through His grace and for His glory.
Sunday School
Our Children’s Sunday School Ministry is geared for children ages 3–10. Children are divided into separate classrooms based on age. Each Sunday your child will be guided through a Bible lesson, crafts, activities, playtime, and snack time.
Our Sunday School is divided into two ministry hours that run parallel to our adult Sunday School and Worship Services:
- First Hour 9:00 – 10:15 am (ages 3–6)
- Second Hour 10:45 am – 12:00 pm (ages 3–10)
- During this hour, children ages 3–10 also take part in musical instruction as part of their overall curriculum.
Adventure Club
Adventure Club meets from 7:00 – 8:15 pm on Wednesday evenings during the school year. There are classes for ages 3–8, where children are taught systematic theology.
Nursery
The Nursery is geared toward children through two years of age. During your child’s visit, they will be cared for both emotionally and physically by our nursery staff. Staff will change diapers, bottle feed, provide a snack, hold, rock, and comfort your child throughout their stay. Our nursery is divided into the following three classes:
- Chickadees Room (Infants) – Up to 11 Months
- Sparrows Room (1-year-olds) – 12–23 Months
Through play, singing, and snack time, we will encourage the principles of serving one another and obedience to authority. - Butterflies Room (2-year-olds) – 24–35 Months
Building on the foundations taught in the One-Year-Olds Room, there will be a more structured time of singing, Bible stories, snack time, and activities in which to engage your child and increase his/her awareness of God.

Volunteer in Children’s Ministry
Thank you for your interest in serving in our Children’s Ministry! We are excited to partner with individuals who have a heart for kids and a desire to help them grow in their faith.
This form is for those who would like to volunteer during our Sunday morning services and/or Wednesday evening activities this coming year. Whether you’re interested in teaching, assisting, check-in, or just being a friendly face, there’s a place for you on our team!

Berean Scholars
The Berean Scholars meets Friday mornings during the school year on the campus of TCBC. The goal of The Berean Scholars at Twin City is to minister to the moms of TCBC and come alongside them specifically as they endeavor to school their children. There are classes available for students Kindergarten through 8th Grade. A preschool class and nursery is available for siblings of registered students only. Mom participation is a requirement as we are not a school, but a ministry to come alongside you in your homeschool journey.
