John 16:16-24 No matter the situation of sorrow or grief we might face, God’s people can have hope and joy.

John 16:12-15 The Holy Spirit inspired the writing of the Bible, which insures its infallibility, inerrancy, authority, sufficiency, and effectiveness.

John 16:4-11 The Holy Spirit is the One who convicts the world that its views on sin, righteousness, and judgment are wrong.

John 16:1-4 Jesus provides the insights into persecution that will enable His followers to persevere and not ‘stumble.’

John 15:26-27 We are partners with the Holy Spirit in evangelism, which is our mission in this world. We are responsible for ‘casting the gospel net’…and the Holy Spirit is responsible for opening the hearts of God’s elect to believe.

John 15:17-25

John 15:12-27 Though we submit to Christ as our Lord, Christians are also called His friends.

John 15:9-11 Our relationship with Christ is not something moralistic or legalistic or mechanical—it is one characterized by love and by joy.

John 15:4-8 True Christians bear fruit by abiding in Christ. And that fruit is proof of being saved, as well as evidence of spiritual growth.

John 15:1-3 God removes those who are not true believers; He prunes those who are.
