John 20:19-21 Jesus miraculously materialized in the room where His followers were hiding out. There He proved His identity, and commissioned His followers to the gospel mission.

John 20:11-18 Mary Magdalene had the great privilege of telling the Apostles that she had seen the risen Jesus. And her announcement included the news about the ascension, and their status as ‘brothers’ of Jesus.

John 20:1-10 Three of Jesus’ followers faced the disturbing discovery that Jesus’ body was missing from His tomb.

John 19:31-42 Jesus’ burial proved His death, and set the stage for His resurrection.

John 19:28-30 On the cross Jesus cried, ‘It is finished,’ because He had completed ALL that is necessary for His people to be saved from their sin.

John 19:23-27 Even while suffering to pay the penalty of our sins, Jesus still showed compassion for His earthly mother.

John 19:17-22 The Apostle John gives an account of the crucifixion of Jesus in brief and direct terms. Though unjust from a human perspective, the cross proclaimed the glory of the one true King.
