1 Thessalonians 5:25-28 As Paul concludes this letter, he draws attention to four timeless needs of all believers.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 God gives all true believes the enabling grace they need to obey Him.

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 Christians must grow in their ability to discern truth vs error, right vs wrong.

1 Thessalonians 5:20 Though the spiritual gift of prophecy is no longer in operation, we despise God’s truth if we despise Scripture.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 Christians can quench or resist the Spirit’s work in their lives.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 The Holy Spirit is one of the three divine members of the Triune God. He is God in every sense, just as the Father and Son are.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 Living with an ‘attitude of gratitude’ for all things is what fits God’s people.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 We should pray in a certain manner. And we should remember to make certain important requests.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 True believers have the great privilege of talking to God in prayer. And we are to do that throughout the day as we go about our lives.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 The normal Christian life is one of rejoicing in all circumstances.
