Colossians 4:5-6 Paul is now concerned that what the Colossians are to further by their consistent prayer not be hindered by inconsistent conduct in daily life. He outlines what is necessary in order to impact “outsiders” for Christ.

Colossians 4:2-4 Prayer is a crucial activity for the Christian — it is the means of obtaining the meeting of needs for ourselves and others, both physical and spiritual. It is a spiritual weapon. It is a vehicle for the confession of sin. And it is the instrument of Divine adoration.

Colossians 3:22-4:1 As Paul discusses the master/slave relationship in his time, he gives us timeless principles that go beyond just that. We find a reminder of what our entire purpose in life is. Are you driven by a passionate desire to glorify Jesus Christ in all areas of your life?

Colossians 3:18-21 The Apostle Paul is putting forth the radical balance in familial relationships that is required to experience God-intended blessing and fullness in the home. The first two are the husband-wife and parent-child relationships.

Colossians 3:17- What is the New Testament approach to living for the Lord? It gives us basic principles of Christian living which may be applied to all situations of life as they arise.

Colossians 3:16- You can have peace when in your innermost being you, by God’s sovereign grace, resolve to live in accordance with something objective — the word of Christ. These rich verses comprise the result of fulfilling the command to let the word dwell richly in us.
