The Missionary Task

Summary:

Colossians 1:24-29 teaches that the task of all missionaries is to mirror the Apostle Paul’s missionary work. It begins with gospel proclamation but it must continue by maturing believers into the likeness of Christ within the soil of a biblical local church. Therefore, the missionary task is carried out not only by vocational ministers but by each member of a church.
