The Adult Sunday School Class is designed to provide Christians with a working knowledge of the Word of God and its primary theme, the person and work of Lord Jesus Christ from Genesis to Revelation. The core curriculum is a three year survey of the Old and New Testaments generally aligned with the children's Sunday School curriculum (in order to promote family learning and discussion). This is followed by three years of more amplified study of specific aspects of the Bible and Bible doctrines plus church history. Then the class returns to the Old Testament Survey.
The class format is primarily didactic with prayer, fellowship and edifying discussion by class members encouraged. The most recent Old and New Testament Survey was completed in September of 2015.
We study a wide variety of biblical topics and passages.
We encourage fellowship among the class members before our weekly lessons and also plan several class activities in the Winston Salem area each year.
